I think I’ve been in some sort of denial since October 3rd, actually I’m sure that I’m in denial.

I was watching a movie on MBC 2 last night called ‘Overnight Delivery’ starring Reese Witherspoon and there was a part near the end of the movie that made me feel sorry for her character ‘Ivy’…Thing is, she falls in love with the male star in the movie but he’s in love (or so he thinks) with another girl - but deep down inside he’s in love with Ivy (confusing, yeah I know). Thing is, near the end, they kind of tell each other that they love each other (kind of) but then he said something on the lines of…

“But I made her a promise, I promised her.”

So I think he promised her marriage or something of the sorts; I can’t really be sure because I didn’t watch the movie from the start - I do remember half way in the movie that he mentioned marrying his girlfriend. ANYWAYS…I just felt so bad for Ivy, I mean that broken look in her eyes, I could hear her heart shatter! Wait, heart shattering? I didn’t hear that, but still, that look on her face was so *sigh* heart breaking…The movie had a happy ending though, the guy realised that he was way over his head in love with Ivy and left his girlfriend for her…A happy ending indeed. BUT..

These things don’t happen in real life (why not?!) :sosad: *sigh* (Elli 3ala rassoh bat7a ye7asses 3aleiha)

From experience I can tell you that the first 2 years of ANY relationship is the hardest 2 years ever, no one starts off their relationship in love, and once the person realizes it they might be too late :r

So how does one know that who they “think” they love is actually “the one”. I mean in the case of the guy in the movie…he was totally convinced he was in love with this girlfriend and then he met Ivy and then everything changed…*sigh* Movies like that make me want to cry…Deep down I wish that Ivy walked down the road all alone without that guy, just so that I could relate to her more *sigh* :(

and No, this never happens in real life, cos althu life can be generous sometimes, the rule is always “life is a bitch” or maybe “unfair” ..

however, we have to move on, cos it won’t stop waitin for anyone, so one has got to be a fighter & a survivor !
