You Could Be My Flamingo! | August 6th 2005
Why am i neglecting this blog? I mean seriously! My last entry was July 29th…so it’s been a week-why? why? why? WHY!?! I’ll tell you why, it’s because i’m a lazy bum :s Yes, it’s sad but true–but wait if i’m a lazy bum, then how do i wake up at 7.30am and work till 8pm (with a 2.5 hr break from 1.30-4)?! Hmm..maybe i’m just lazy when it comes to my blog?
OoOoOo!! Guess what?! I got a tan! i got a tan!! My friends and I went to the Crowne Plaza last Thursday and i got this yucky tan! loool…i’m not a sun person, BELIEVE ME…i tend to hide from the sun (ok, i’m exaggerating, but still, i’m not a sun person :p) Anyhoos, we were there, the pool was lovely and i saw the tiny dude from ‘Army of One’ (the Kuwaiti ‘rap’ band–puhleez) He’s actually better looking in real-life than he does bouncing around on TV, sound better too! After we spent a couple of hours at the Crowne Plaza, my friends and I went to Marina Mall, i went shopping and i bought 2 t-shirts (one pink, the other green) from Next and…My new obsession:
‘Sheer Stella’ by Stella McCartney
It smells amazing, with Butterfly Lavender and French Rose; it just smells yummy! And i love the rose blossom print on it, soooo cute!! I got it from Va Va Voom, and if given the chance, i would’ve bought loads of other stuff like the *cough* The Dior eyeshadow my mother just bought 2 weeks ago–the one i broke 2 DAYS ago *cough* But mom said she didn’t want a new one. Just for the record, it FELL out of my hand when i was putting it away!! Yes, it fell, as in committed suicide, it probably got sick of my mother jabbing a little applicator brush at it all the time; so the only way to escape the never-ending torture was to jump out of my hand, fall onto the ground and smash itself into a billion little pieces until nothing became of it but powder. There you go, i rest my case! lol…wow, my imagination is running wild today, must be the pizza i had at Peppe’s Pizza!!Peppe’s Pizza is a Norwegian restaurant that opened it’s FIRST ever INTERNATIONAL branch here in good ol’Kuwait, Read all about it here! I had the ‘Knock Out’ Pizza Pie and DAMN it’s hot (as in very, VERY spicy!!) my mouth nearly fell off! I had their Pink Lemonade and WOW!! It’s delicious!! Definatley two thumbs up! Way to go Peppe’s Pizza!! :D
I’ve been nicknamed ‘Pink Panther’ by one of my friends because I like the colour Pink so much *blush* I never really realised i had many pink things…like erm, my pink stero, my pink wallet, my pink iPod, my pink phone, my pink shoes, my 4 pink tops, my pink wristband, my 6 pink pjs (2 have winnie the pooh on them) erm, what else have i got that’s pink? Oh yeah, pink bags, i think i’ve got 4…yeah; 4!! I want NEED a pink laptop! lol… So i’ve got this adorable picture of a winking Pink Panther aka ‘La Panthère Rose’ for my cell’s background! I can’t wait till the movie comes out–hello Steve Martin and Beyonce!! I watched the trailer and Steve Martin makes a better Inspector Clouseau than David Niven.
