As I was researching for my paper on the portrayal of women in songs, I came across a quote by Evelyn Cunningham where she states that “women are the only oppressed group in our society that live in intimate association with their oppressors.” How ridiculously sad, and excruciatingly true.

Now that I’m done with my research paper, excuse me while I kick back, relax and watch La Vie en Rose. :)

Women are oppressed, yes. But, many continue to victimize themselves and use this opression as an excuse for many things. I know I might have my head bitten off for this statement… but.. I wuv you Sou *creepy angel face* :)

But that quote is oh soooo true!

DO NOT START WITHOUT ME! I’ll get Ben & Jerry’s, you call the gang… or should we just settle for a night in ALONE *wink wink* :p~
