WHY! | April 18th 2006

Sou thought out loud in Fun, Personal, Crazy

WHY??????? Wait, let me ask another question. HOW???? How in the world were these girls chosen to compete in the Miss Egypt 2006 pagent? They’re ugly! They’re ugly! THEY’RE UGLY!!!!! (where’s the emoticon that vomits when I really need it!) Where are all the nice looking Egyptian girls?!! Don’t tell me there aren’t any! I’m sure there are some of them out there, somewhere! *sigh* Oh well, let’s see which poor unfortunate soul is going to represent Egypt in Miss World, or is it Miss Universe? If you want to find out more and check out even yuckier pictures of our so called contestants, please, PLEASE click here. I’m probably being a little harsh….on second thoughts, I’m not! *shudders* Seriously they’re yucky :/ It’s not that i’m being “less Egyptian” coz i’m not supporting them, it’s just that, they’re ugly and well, that’s that!

Time to sign off (I totally need to go to bed!) Till next time World!

Ta ta for now dahlings! :*

Almond | April 18th, 2006

um…well I wouldn’t say ugly really. But they are all wearing the same make up… and its not helpping anyone.

But I must say…that second to last girl’s nose scares me. Did she get a michael jackson nose job or what??

nibaq | April 18th, 2006

All the pretty Egyptian girls are in Kuwait.

Sou | April 18th, 2006

Almond: Same make up?? They probably have a whole tube of concealer on their faces! Plus, Photoshop has a huuuuge factor on the way they look! :p

Just her nose?? Come on Almond, I know you can do better than that! LOL! Look at the other girls! Yukh…Can somebody say “PLA-STIC SUR-GER-Y”???

Nibaq: Seeing is believing! Show me where they are 3ashan asada2! :p

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - well it used to be. Beauty pagents changed that and nowadays, beauty is what money can buy. I read that not long ago, China held a beauty contest for artificial beauty i.e those who have gone under the knife to be as perfect as they think they can be. Well, you have shown that not everyone can be fooled so easily. Interesting post. Cheers! Miss your visits to my blog.

Damn!!! They all look like Men in drag!!!

Guru | April 23rd, 2006

I don’t think that they are ugly. It is possible that they aren’t the most beautiful women in the country (it is rare that the beauty contestants are), but they aren’t hags.

Sarah | April 23rd, 2006

hey… my blog now is http://sarahyehia.blogspot.com

Tarek | April 23rd, 2006

Ok, here you are my two cents, what I think that there are many pretty egyptian girls, far more than those ones, but the point is that most of the girls here are either shy, not-interested, or afraid to enter such competition either for social or religious reasons.

Sou | April 23rd, 2006

Sarah: Best of the worst? I like that! hehehe

Kofta: Lol…well yalla, you’ve been spared :p hehehe

Fractal: Fawzeya won, I thin she’s the second on the second row…

Operon: So it’s because of those girls that Egyptian men are gay? Bas mesh kollohom gay ya3ni :p

Pegrine: Miss Plastic Surgery…has a certain ring to it, doesn’t it? Thanks for passing by Peg :)

Jazz: That’s what JaCkie said when I showed her the picture this morning :p lool

Guru: You’re right…*sigh* But still, they’re just giving Egyptian gals a bad name…know what I mean?

Tarek: Social and religious boundaries! Ya3ni dol elli fel pagent, mafeesh boundaries?! Those “shy” girls should loosen up a bit! They should get out there and show the world that Egyptians aren’t ugly!!
