What a Difference a Day Makes… | February 9th 2005

Sou thought out loud in Blog, Friends, Fun, Personal, Creative

If you’ve read my post titled “Tweedle Dum” you’ll know that i was against attending a university here in Kuwait…anyhoos, yesterday was my first class, and i still can’t believe i’m going to say this, but i thought it was gr8, i met new friends, and we clicked instantly! I had History, it’s hard but i still like it! hehehe…So a day does make a difference, it really does!

I’d like to wish everybody who “celebrates” the Islamic New Year, which happens to be today, and the Chinese New Year (especially Aquarius)–which happens to be today as well–A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! So Kol Sana Wintom Tayebeen (literal translation: Every Year and You Are Happy!—don’t u just love the Arabic language?! hehehe)

I’ve posted 3 pieces of art work…tell me what you think, i’ll post some more later :D

Nice

super cool girl!
when i draw myself it looks terribly inaccurate for some reason. I draw my teeth too big and my eyes too small apparently. Oh well

As for super peepee. yea the reaction from class was kinda like yours. hehe!

Camel | February 10th, 2005

Wow! Those are fantastic! I can’t draw at all….

Congrats on starting school…I’m uber-excited for you. University is sooo much fun…when you’re not completely stressed out. Don’t get too stressed out. Most important lesson is to not let school interfere with living.

Chinese New Year for me, since I’m Chinese. I forgot what it was in Chinese, so I won’t try and utter it. :P

Nice drawings there. I could never do that.

Happy New year *~$&!~*,my Egyptian friend! “Xin Nian Kuai Le” in Chinese and I wish you good health, success and happiness as a new university student. Work hard and play hard as life is about balance in thoughts as well as actions.

I like your drawings especially the one of the rose and the one with the pencil, wow - it’s simple and yet it draws attention to a law of physics that no one really notices in real life. You have very expressive eyes as captured in your self-portrait. I smiled when I saw your drawings and am still smiling because I really like them and I look forward to seeing more of them. Cheers!

Purg: Thanx :D

Almond: Thanx! I tend to not draw myself smiling, coz i can’t draw teeth :p hehehe…

Well it’s only natural that i laugh at super peepee!! ;) hehehe..

Camel: I’ll try not to let uni interfere with “living”. I hope i won’t get too stressed out, well i was a couple of days ago, i was trying to figure out an Ancient Mediterranean Map! EEK! hehehe…

Davey: XIN NIAN KUAI LE!!:D
Never say never Davey, who knows, you might have drawing skills! Have you ever tried?!

Aquarius: “Work hard and play hard”I’ll try!!! Thanks for liking my work! You’ve also seen beyond just the drawings, very artistic! :D

Xin Nian Kuai Le to you too Aquarius. I wish this year will bring you happiness, health and prosperity!
