Waiting Like an Iceberg | December 18th 2006
This morning was terrible. I had an hour and a half of sleep and I felt so groggy when I woke up. I was out of the house at 6:30 on the dot. The sky was still dark and the cold was bitter and very, very painful. While selecting what to wear this morning I opted for my black high heel boots. Why? I have no idea! Last time I put them on was last winter; the experience wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be. Sure I almost fell twice, but hey, beauty comes with a price, hahaha.
I just got back from Wasabi, I love sushi, I love sushi, I LOVE SUSHI!! D and I were celebrating her 22nd birthday, amazing how time flies by, even though it was six years ago, it seems just like yesterday that we were in high school chatting away on our school bus. D’s a fresh graduate and she’ll be flying back to the Emirates to finish off extra courses to strengthen her skills; good for her, gotta admire the ambition!
I started reading ‘Tall Poppies’ by Louise Bagshawe the other day and now I’m about half an hour from finishing the book. I haven’t read a book that grabbed my attention since I read The Alchemist by Coelho last year. ‘Tall Poppies’ is a very captivating book, I totally recommend it!
It’s no where near my bedtime yet and I’m so sleepy that I’m actually nodding off as I type this. I’m also freezing my tush off and I’m too cold to switch on the little heater thingie my dad got for me. If I stare at the heater long enough, my telekenetic powers might help switch it on! *looks and thinks really hard at the heater* Grr…Nothing. *looks, squints and thinks really hard* Grr…still nothing! Alright, I’m giving up right here, anymore ‘hard thinking’ and I’ll pull my brain’s muscle or something! hahaha. Speaking of brains, I just remembered what the coming weeks have in store for me.: assignments, projects, finals, some painting and The Muscles. Speaking of The Muscles….

Mr. Muscles couldn’t pull Mrs. Muscles up and unfortunately she had the worst fall known to their kind! We rushed her to the hospital and the doctor said she’ll be alright; two broken bones, but nothing else to worry about! I feel really bad for Mrs. Muscles, I hope she gets better quick.
Music time! KT Tunstall won’t ever cease to amaze me. The video I put up today is called ‘Other Side of the World’ and it’s superb, it’s a song which I’m sure some, if not most, of us could relate to. Enjoy. :)
Till next time world!
Ta ta for now :*
