Unveiling Hathor

I’ve been thinking of purchasing one since they were released (a month ago?) simply because my precious, precious, precious iPod Video is going to commit suicide if one more pen mark ends up on it. So what has yours truly done? I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
You’re probably thinking, “So, erm, Hathor? What’s that got to do with an iPod Shuffle!” See, this is where I come in to explain (rather like save the day)! Hathor is the Ancient Egyptian goddess of music. If you know me, you’ll know I’m not going to name my iPod something like, “Sou’s Shuffle” or “Sou”. I want a name like mine, special and meaningful (talk about an ego!) My name is Greek, I love the meaning and the history behind it (no, I’m not going to say what it means because you’ll easily Google it and find out - so no thanks). I named my iPod video ‘Euterpe’, she was the Greek goddess/muse of music; there you go, nothing like ancient mythology to enrich the soul! And seriously, how many people out there have named their iPod ‘Hathor’?! I should probably go down in History as the first! (again with the ego!) More on Hathor and Euterpe.
Odd thought, don’t you think that it’s weird that my wall looks purple in one photo, blue in another and gray in the next? How odd is that? I think it’s mostly purple in the fifth picture, right?
We all know what I’m going to put on my shuffle first, right? Oh come on! I know you know!! I mean, come on, anyone brave enough to walk around in red trousers and golden shoes has my vote! (Click thumbnail below to enlarge).
You know, I really need to add this, my family and I went to the NBK day thingie that took place at Marina yesterday afternoon and I captured a video of the torture we had to undergo; I’m not going to say it wasn’t ‘fun’ torture. My brother and I couldn’t stop laughing and if you listen carefully, you could hear us - or was that in the other video?

The walls in your room are strange… Are you sure you didn’t repaint them in each picture, or have one of those expensive color changing paint jobs? Eh, it’s probably really the white balance on your camera or something, never know.

Can I paint my shuffle pink? This reminds me, when I went to buy a cover for my not-so-cool shuffle the guy only had 2 left in store; one baby blue and one pink. My shuffle remains bare to this day.
