“Sou! Where have you been? We missed you here! I’m used to seeing you in class and I was quite shocked to see that you haven’t attended in a week!”
That’s what my art professor said when he saw me this morning, isn’t he the sweetest ever?! Yes he is, yes he is!! :) I was so happy to be back, I love that class, it’s my favourite; who wouldn’t like to spend an hour learning about never ending art terms and analyzing hidden symbols in paintings? If only there were majors to quench the thirst of so many art lovers here *sigh*
I spent four hours in the library today. Never in my life have I ever come across a place that smells so bad. I think my nose fell off and went to nose heaven! My goodness, the stench, the stenchhh…it was extremely nauseating; I don’t even want to begin to describe it *shudders* I tried my best to ignore the smell; it took about an hour for the nausea to disappear and by then I had found a book or two on Ahmed Shawki. I’ve decided to write the gruelling 10 paged paper on him, this is going to be painful but since I’m fabulous and fantastic (ego) I managed to get an extension till the 21st! You’re probably thinking, “can she do it? Can she write 10 pages in a week?” Well, I believe I can, *thinks positive* 10 pages is nothing! (who am I kidding?!) :wow:
After marking a few pages that I found relevant for my first assignment, I started to look for books for my second assignment. As I was picking out a book from a top shelf, a monster of a bug landed on my arm!! Funny thing is (I’m not sure “funny” is the right word to use here) is that I didn’t scream and I didn’t panic. It actually took me a few seconds for the realization of what happened to sink in, and yuck! Anyway, I shook my arm till the monster fell off and I kind of made a run for it. I think I’ve been put off the library for the rest of my life! It’s smelly and bugs live in the books, eiw, eiw, eiw! :shh:
Here are The Muscles reading out what they found interesting in the books I brought back from the library. They felt so bad for me that they offered to help, so they read a few pages and took down some notes, how cute! ;) hahaha

I’m trying to turn over a new leaf and I want to have a much more positive look on life. I think it’s starting to reflect on my blog, right? To celebrate, I’m leaving you with a song by Asala, I know that one day I’ll be able to feel exactly what she’s singing in this song :) Enjoy!
Till next time world!
Ta ta for now :*
