Rocket in My Head
February 18th 2007 by Sou in Blog, Friends, Personal, Crazy, Music, University, MikaI’m wearing myself out but I keep on telling myself over and over again, “Sou, don’t quit, if you don’t work your ass of now, you’ll never reach your goals, you’ll be a nobody.” Do I really want to be a nobody? Of course not! Which brings up my next question, does anybody know where I can develop my French? My Sundays and Tuesdays aren’t as busy as the rest of the days of the week, so I’d like to do something productive.
I also want to watch a good movie.
Oh yeah, I also need to remember to breathe.
I saw some friends today, it was nice catching up with R; I guess listening to her complain about her boyfriend made ’single me’ feel great! People in relationships don’t have it easy, they don’t have it easy at all! Yeah well neither do single people…ouff, why the heck can’t I make my mind up! What’s wrong with me?! All I can think of is Kafka, Gilgamesh, Frequencies oh yeah, and Mika. LOL (TWIRLIES I’M SORRY! HAHAHA) I’ve found refuge in his music, it’s nothing like the songs I usually listen to and believe me, that’s great, because none of Mika’s songs remind me of anything or anyone.
The thunder is blasting outside.
RM tried to be “funny” today but I ignored him, I didn’t even look at him when he talked to me and I must say, it bloody worked!! He didn’t mention my name throughout the entire class!! Success! As usual, he didn’t talk about the history of Kuwait, but instead talked about everything else. What did I do? My Statistics homework; I had an hour and a half and I used them wisely :) I hope he starts teaching us something next class, I’ve been reading up on the history of Kuwait and it isn’t so bad, the book is awful, a little boring at first but hey, I’m sure the interesting things are going to come up :)
I’m an influence to the masses.
I’m going to head to bed, very, very long day ahead of me tomorrow morning.

Speaking of Mika, you know when u hear of something u suddenly become more aware of it and pay more attention to it? Well I was sitting in traffic and my eyes were wandering and a poster advertising a Mika gig coming up next week caught my eye, the next day I was glancing through vinyl in a music store and I came across a Mika record. Mika mika mika lol I’m just gona have to give this dudes music a chance :)
I hate long busy days, thinking about them isnt as bad as having to actually through the day though. Have a good day tomorrow :) Im starting to rant now, more so than on my own blog

I am not sure about the french classes in Kuwait, but I would love to go back to my french courses at the CFCC .. but I am too lazy “also the gym thingie” .. OMG, I have lotsa pending plans!

Sou, It is nice to have busy days I love those and it beats the hell out of siting around and let your mind do its works on you.. HOwever God be with you with your French quest.. “Damn I do hate it..”
AS for collage it sucks for most people but it is just a tansition hang in there and believe it or not you will look back at those with tingly feeling in your gut or so they say.. As for me “WORK JUST RULES”

French is a fabulous idea, it was at the top of my to do list but lost to the MBA.
I hate to break it to you, but one never really does stop working hard. There is no destination. It doesn’t end with high school, nor university, nor landing the job of your dreams. It goes on forever… and if you are really lucky it will be mighty rewarding, on more levels than you thought imaginable.
