NEW 7 Wonders!!! | October 21st 2006
The committee of the “New Seven Wonders of the World” have established a short list of 21 locations around the globe. Now (duh) only 7 are going to be chosen out of the 21 locations.
The original old Seven Wonders of the World all collapsed except for the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, which are challenging time. (Way to go Masr! ;))
The Pyramids of Giza, the oldest and only Ancient Wonder still standing, are testimony to perfection in art and design, never subsequently achieved. They were built by planners and engineers purely to serve their earthy rulers - who were also their gods. Philosophy did not exist at this time, and creation was not subject to any questioning. The pyramids are the purest of constructions, built for eternity.
Despite the fact that the Pyramids totally rock and have been around forever, they’re threatened to be replaced by other world monuments if we don’t vote! Now do we really want that to happen?!!! I’m sure we don’t! SO PLEASE head over to the site and make sure one of your seven votes include the Pyramids!
They’ll announce the “new” 7 wonders of the world July 7th 2007 (07.07.07 - get it?!) :D
