Doing what I do best, which is slacking around doing absolutely nothing and catching up on new releases, I happened to stumbled across Laura Marling, a 17 year old singer/songwriter from England. I read she was actually denied access to her own EP launch because she’s underage; she ended up performing outside the venue!

Being the music nut that I am, I bought My Manic and I and New Romantic from 7 Digital because they were the only tracks available off the EP - grr. Oh yeah, and I’m a heartbeat away from pre-ordering her debut album from Amazon (UK), but I’m still hesitant as I’m quite broke, the album is for 20 pounds because it comes in a package that contains a CD album, an exclusive concert ticket and set of album mementos - to pre-order, or not to pre-order? I’ll probably pre-order next month, but the thing is, I’ve got no use of the concert ticket. You know what, I’ll give it to Ananyah because one of Marling’s gigs is going to be held in Glasgow March 4th. There, case closed! :)
