Introducing: Max Amini | March 28th 2008

Sou thought out loud in Fun, Crazy, YouTube, Axis of Evil Comedy, Max Amini

Max Amini’s an Iranian-American comedian, and I couldn’t stop laughing the first time, and every other time I watch the video (very often) of him opening for the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour. He’s really funny! Seriously, he is!

I’m finding it really hard to choose a joke of his as “the funniest”, because they all had me in stitches, especially the one at the end!

Watch, watch, watch!!!!

Click here if you can’t see the above embedded video.

He’ll be performing in Dubai tonight along with Maz Jobrani. (Yes, it’s official, I’m a bitter woman, and I hate Dubai).

Till next time world.

“YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME?! FACK YOU! I FACKING KILL YOU! PULL OVEEEEER! PULL OVEEEEER! OH, VAIT! GOOD PART IN THE SONG! HELLOOOOO!”

HAHA, DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE PART;p

Amethyst | March 28th, 2008

OPERON! I GOT YOU! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sou | March 28th, 2008

Amethyst: Haha, I texted you and Zooza that part this morning because I couldn’t get it out of my head! If only there was a way to convey in the text message the Persian-shake thingie he did at the end.

Khodafes!

OpeRonĀ® | March 28th, 2008

OpeRonĀ® | March 28th, 2008

Grrr @ Amethyst

Sou | March 28th, 2008

Operon: In all honesty, how many times have you watched it? At least 3? Right? RIGHT? :D

Stephen | March 28th, 2008

I watched, watched, watched

Sou | March 28th, 2008

Stephen: And?! And?! And?!!!

Stephen | March 28th, 2008

Not bad, I liked the grape soda reference, reminded me of Dave Chappelle’s stuff

Sou | March 28th, 2008

Stephen: That was it?!!! Seriously?! :/

Stephen | March 28th, 2008

Yeah he is good but just not to my taste, Its hard to pin point what I find funny.

I love stand up, its my dream to go to the Montreal comedy festival someday. But its hard for me to come accross comedians I find very funny.

Maybe you identify with his humour more than I do?

Sou | March 28th, 2008

Stephen: Good point: “identity”; I hadn’t thought of it that way. Well you’ll soon experience our identity, and you’ll relate to the humour before you know it ;)

I hope your dream comes true, Stephen! :)

doesn’t come close to Maz Jobrani.. I’m sorry I didn’t like him much, he doesn’t do Persiaaan really well :(

Sou | March 29th, 2008

Juju: Well not every Iranian-American comedian has to be a Maz Jobrani replica :p Max has his own style, and he’s super vivacious and charismatic on stage; I seriously can’t imagine anyone else doing the ‘But Dad…’ and ‘Gangsta Music’ jokes!

But hey, to each their own :)

Crazed Man in Tattered Robes and Straw Sandals | March 29th, 2008
