You’ll never believe this…actually if u know me, u wud :p BRACE YOURSELVES (ok, y am i making such a big deal outta this?!) Anyhoo….so my parents decide to take my siblings and i to the restaurant in the Movenpick hotel, i really wasn’t looking forward to it since it’s probably close to the Saudi-Kuwaiti borders!!! (i’m exaggerating!!!) :p Alas, we reached the hotel and we’re walking towards the restaurant entrance…and the music, is beautiful “autumn leaves” by frank sinatra, but a woman’s singing it (since it’s live music)…her voice, is amazing and i couldnt wait to be seated to savour the moment (I happen to love most Frank Sinatra’s songs). So the song ended and i had to, and i mean just HAD to ask them to sing “The Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler (since that’s the song that i sang at my prom last April—and i won first runner up!!) The singer and the dude playing the music didn’t really know what i was talkin about, so they asked me to sing a bit of it, and then…DRUM ROLL—they asked ME TO SING THE SONG!!!! lukily for moi, my family were the only people there, there weren’t any other families (now i wonder what that meant?!! :p) so i sang, and i sang, and i sang and i sang, until our food arrived, it was so much fun!!! i hadn’t sung since April and it felt amazing!! it’s like a load was taken off my chest…this guy (who works there obviously!!) came up to me and actually asked me if i would like to work there!! but i mean i can’t for 2 reasons:

• Numero uno: singing is just a hobby
• Numero dos: it’s SO far away from where i live!!!

I told them i “might” come in from time to time…i sang:

• Strangers in the Night - Frank Sinatra
• Killing Me Softly - The Fugees

I bought a new fone today!! woohoo! and i love it, looks like a bubble!!! and the theme i’ve got is from ‘forever friends’ those teddies are SO cute!
