“If You Want My Autograph…”

After I was done with my final at 10:20, Amethyst and I decided to head out to Coffee Bean to meet up with D and Fz. A few minutes later, a man walked in who upon further observation (I’m calling it “observation” - shut up), so yeah, upon further observation, I realised he looked like Chris Martin, Coldplay’s frontman. I mentioned it to my friends and I said, “I totally want to go up to him and say he looks like Chris!” D, bless her heart, dared me to do it, which only sparked Fz to say, “Sou, I’ll give you 20 Dinars if you actually do it.” Seeing as my friends are absolutely insane (haha, look who’s talking!) I decided to brush the dares aside; the Chris Martin look-a-like was just having coffee and a muffin, why would I want to disrupt his peaceful breakfast?
With persistent pleas from Amethyst, D and Fz, I finally got up, marched over to the poor unsuspecting look-a-like, told him my friends and I thought he looked like Chris Martin. His reaction though was…well, hmm, I’m not sure, all he said was, “Okay, yeah thanks.” I then told him to enjoy the rest of his muffin, then I walked off. Yes ladies and gents, I did it. Oh, and I’m 20 Dinars richer, haha!
But wait, that wasn’t the end of it.
He came over to me and said that it’s funny I said he looked like Chris because his mother’s from the same town as Chris, and yes, he’s gotten the whole, “You look like Chris Martin from Coldplay” numerously. Oh, and I need to add, that the second he started talking to me, I gasped (shut up, I was shocked!) (A) I didn’t actually think he’d approach me. (B) I didn’t actually think he understood what I said about looking like Chris Martin. (C) His accent caught me off guard. I was too dumbstruck at the fact that he outdid my brashness (yes, shut up again), that all I could make out was a hint of Scottish, although I’m sure it wasn’t Scottish; oh well, whatever the hell it was, it sounded great. So our conversation ended with him saying, “Well yeah, if you want my autograph, I’m over there.” and he pointed at his seat. Cute.
Yeah, so if anyone knows Mr. Chris Martin Look-A-Like, do send him my regards, haha. :)

Reminds me of a dare I did ages ago when one of my friends liked someone but she was too shy to tell him, so she gave me her mobile number on a piece of paper… I went up to the guy who worked in a store oo I’m like.. “see my friend over there, my friend likes you… here is her number… bye”

That guy (whoever he is) is adorable and you probably just got away with it because you’re cute =D. Overall the cuteness of this story is so overwhelming it sickens me lol.
(of course, I still do not see the hawtness but that’s another matter :P)
