I WON!!! | March 16th 2005

Sou thought out loud in Friends, Fun, Personal, Crazy, Music, University

Dahling, i have become a DIVA!!! Yes, yes i have!!! How? How you ask?! I’ll tell you :D

I won first place in my university’s Karaoke night!!!! YEY!! hehehe, it was fabulous! i sang:

I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
The Wind Beneath My Wings - Bette Midler
Believe - Cher
It’s Raining Men - Geri Halliwell

I was asked to sing ‘I Will Survive’ again, i was probably in demand :p hehehe…and i just had to sing ‘The Wind Beneath My Wings’ because it’s my song! hehehe…I’m so excited!!! hehehe, i came back a while ago, and i had to write about it!! I’m getting my prize on Saturday! woohoo!! Speaking of ‘Saturday’, i’ve got Business Ethics h/w to give in :s and my 2nd history essay is due on Wednesday, eek!

My sleeping disorder has disappeared *phew*, this whole week was a mess, but it’s the weekend tomorrow, and i’m going to have fun..I’ll probably meet up with ‘Il Sit Mish Mish’…

I’ve decided which book to read, Last Chance Saloon - Marian Keyes!! Woohoo!! Eyes of a Tradgedy, i’m sorry babe, The Fist of God , just seems to, erm…well, it’s just not the kinda book i’d read, somebody gave it to me to read, i’ll probably read it at the end :D

I’m learning to appreciate my curly hair. Yup, it’s curly! Realllly curly! But i’m loving it *pa ra pa-pa!* It’s me, it’s the real me!! Straight hair makes me look sophisticated sure, but it also shows my split ends but it is easier to manage tho…*sigh* now i’m confused, but curly it cool, ppl aren’t used to me with curly hair yet, but they’ll come around, right? :D hehehe

Maybe when the bloggers here in Kuwait organize the next meet up i’ll come and sing :p hehehehe…

Recommended blog of the day: On My Own

Dah-lings, it’s time for me to sign off, Ta ta for now :*

Wow, congrats on your singing abilities! Superness and all that jazz! Do you know what the prize is? Oh and don’t worry about the book choice, but beware my wrath now, haha, I might just sabatoge the next karaoke night, muwhahahaha (that’s an evil laugh by the way)
In other news, well I saw your picture with straight hair and frankly, not to sound weird, you’re very pretty so curly hair will also look graet on you I’m sure. Anyhoo that’s all for now. Take care

Eyes o.a. Tradgedy: Thanx! And no, i don’t know what the prize is, i’m going to find out on Saturday! WooHoo!

Hehehe, well i’ll tell you when the next karaoke night is and you could probably fly all the way from Canada to erm “sabotage” the night! hehehe..

And thanx, very sweet of u, i had my hair curly again today and it looked like an electricuted poodle :p hehehe

Black Lace: Dah-ling! Yes, yes we should meet up for some tea, and perhaps crumpets? lol..

JaCkie:Yes! Karaoke! I would’ve told u to come, but only students from my uni could go, isn’t that a drag?! :( (pun intended since you know how Purg feels about drag :p)

Purg: Would you like it if i answered by saying “Yes”?

Well, i know you would like it, but no, i wasn’t dressed in drag, and no there weren’t sailers and cops with moustaches, only i think a couple of “guys” would’ve loved to come dressed in drag–but you know how it is in Kuwait :p

Aquarius: Reading comments from you always puts a smile on my face! Thank you!

And who knows what the future brings? I might be a Diva! hehehe

Ram: EEK!! I didn’t know u wanted to go, even though i mentioned it infront of you once! Well, don’t worry, when i see you on saturday i’ll just re-inact the whole thing? You like? hehehe
