I really miss Egypt!! I haven’t been there in two years and it feels like forever. You’re probably thinking, “Well, why don’t you just get on a plane and leave?!” Well i’ll tell you why, i’m not allowed to travel alone *sigh* Mom wouldn’t let me travel even if sheep started flying! :/ It’s such a bummer, because this year, out of all years, i REALLY want to travel! I’ve actually got friends to meet and places to go!!! *feels important* I’m going to go back to visit someday, it’s just a matter of time, right?
I miss Ramadan in Egypt; i love the atmosphere there. Full of love! How i long for those days!! Only i was around 12 when i experienced Ramadan and Eid there–not so far but not so close either. I really miss it (i could keep on going on and on…) I miss the traditional lanterns my grandmother bought me. I miss the family dinners we had in Eid…i miss it all…*sigh*
