Here’s Looking At You!
July 13th 2006 by Sou in Movies, PersonalLet me start off by saying that the vision in my left eye is kind of blurred up because of corneal abraisions :( Thing is, I was on my way to the library in uni and the weather was absolute crap, windy and dusty (gah!) So a grain (yes a SINGLE grain) decided to call my cornea “home sweet home”. Being the idiot that i am, i rubbed my eye and that’s when things went downhill…Six hours later (i was at uni, and I had a presentation, couldn’t leave), I finally went to a doctor and he extracted the “foreign body” using these freaky-looking tweezer thingies! Anyways, I’m alright-ish, a little blurred vision, but hey, I’m alive and kicking el 7amdulilah :) Eventhough my eye hurts, bla bla bla, I couldn’t stop myself from watching…
‘Closer’ and I loved it. The whole movie revolves arond 4 characters (Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Clive Owen); I don’t remember seeing any extras that interacted with the 4 main characters. So the movie’s about 2 couples and well…I know if i start writing about it, I’ll just end up ruining it for those of you who haven’t watched the movie, and it’s a really great movie (with a twisted ending!)

I enjoyed the movie as well, aktar 7aga 3agabetni is that throughout the whole movie is that the only ppl you saw were the four characters…no extras..well maybe in the exhibition and at the end, oh and at the strip club…lol But okay, you know what i mean by ‘just the 4 characters’ hehe :D

Good taste in movies! I LOVE that movie too.Jude Law is such a babe!I was surprised at Julia Roberts part…but I don’t want to carry on as to not spoil it for others.
I’m home from the hospital,and since the pain has eased up,I thought I would do some strolling through my faves and play catch up,as well as post my outcome for enquiring minds.It’s all good….thanks to modern medicine,that is.ha ha

Class: Well you have to watch ‘Closer’, it’s a role that’s new to Julia :D And my eye’s better, i’ve been taking good care of it, I tell it stories before I sleep and make sure that it’s snuggled up well in bed (okay, it’s past my bedtime hence the…heck I’m nuts, I shouldn’t use the lack of sleep as an excuse :p)

As for the movie Closer, GREAT CHOICE! its in one of my favorite movies too.
Did you know it was originally a play? I would recommend reading the play, the ending is slightly different. (I think the play is better, then again i’m a live performance junkie)

There is one part of your post I have to disagree with! Closer was sick in a twisted way.It was the wierdest movie ever but I have to admit the cast was amazing, especially Natalie Portman. But everyone has his or her own opinion so I suggest people watch it before making a jugdment!
