HELP WANTED! Damsel in Lingo Distress!! | January 19th 2005
*27 diconnections, 17 switch offs and 2 restarts is how long it took to finally post this entry!!! My laptop gave me the worst time EVER!! I was going to throw it out the window–no really, I WAS!!! But then i realised, if i threw this laptop out the window, my parents wouldn’t get me a new one–so does anyone have a laptop they want to give away?! ;p Anyways, here it goes, Enjoy!*
Français, yes French! I don’t speak it fluently, but i do know a couple of ‘phrases’! I was watching TV5 yesterday, and in a whole sentence i understood about 2 words!! I used to be in the TOP French set–yes, yours truly! lol :p Of course, i was in the top french set, with the lowest grades–come to think of it, i was doing fine in the ‘B’ set, i dunno why they moved me to ‘A’—hmm, maybe studying had something to do with it, makes you think!! Well, i can’t really go baq 7 years and change my studying habits!! *sigh* O well…so baq to the Français bit. My Mother and Grandparents speak French fluently and my dad speaks Italian!! Now can somebody please tell me why i can’t speak any other languages other than Arabic & English?!! *sigh* Now if only i studied (ok, not the right time for regrets!) You know what, i’m going to learn how to speak French! Oui! and if anybody out there can speak French, well i’m a Damsel in Lingo Distress!!! Sil vous plait ‘ELP ME!!! (yes, i mean “ELP” because, in French, the “H” is silent! and it’s a vowel, right?!)
