Have Some Mercy!
February 17th 2006 by Sou in Crazy, Fun, PersonalMy sister Yass is 17 months now (big girl!) and we spend every morning together, playing outside, watching television, poking “Sou” with the paintbrush; OOPS, i meant “painting” lol…It’s a lot of fun really but there’s one aspect of watching television that makes me want to stick my head in the oven..
Alrighty, so The Backyardigans are these extremely annoying animals that well, are created soley to annoy the living daylights out of you!!!
If i have to hear the “I love you, you love me” song one more time, I’m going to throw a rock at the television…Need I say more when it comes to…..
Oh, how about Fraggle Rock?!! How the heck do children put up with those puppets, they look terrifying!
How about the lovely Untalkative Bunny? What kind of a name is “untalkative bunny”?!! What in the world were they thinking of calling the main character that, let alone the title of the cartoon thingie! Oh, did i mention there was an emu and a mongoose in the cartoon? *sigh*
I thought the whole bunny ordeal was painful? Well why don’t you try sitting through half an hour listening to an air head of a character talking most of the time? I’m talking about ‘Crystal’ a dalmation dog in ‘Hoze Hounds’ (Crystal is the blonde one…the horror, the PAIN!)
Those shows are just the tip of the iceberg…but still, it’s fun to see Yass dance around and laugh while she’s watching those shows…I bet you anything they send like “baby mind controlling waves” through those cartoons! Especially Barney’s show! It’s like the whole world stops when Barney’s on T.V.!!! *sigh*Here’s Yass painting and this time she wasn’t trying to poke my eye out with the paintbrush! Adorable! Isn’t she?!! :D

I hate Barney too!! He’s evil, he’s bloody evil i tell you! I don’t understand why children love him! I mean, Yass was crying her eyes out the other day and the second I flipped the channel to Barney, she was dancing and smiling! HOW?!!!!

I remember back in the middle ages when I used to be a child I used to watch the coolest cartoons ever. Give me Thundercats over Barney any day! Or better yet The Aristocats (my ultimate favorite Disney cartoon back then), or Dumbo, or Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White, or Cinderella (But I got so sick of it eventually), or better yet the cartoons we used to adore the translated ones such as Al Tenen Al Sagheer or Re7lat 3anaba.. Ohh the good old days!

The color purple doesn’t represent homosexuality. It’s just the ones who seem homosexual are purple here. I don’t see it but heck i’ve always avoided those guys anyway lol!
Swair, there used to be a game called “Barney Carnage” that was very popular amoung young teens for awhile here. That may satisfy your need for Barney’s end! lol ;P
