Mushi and i decided to have a girl’s night in tonight…we planned to watch a movie, and not any movie, we were planning on watching….DRUM ROLL–”THE EXORCIST” i remember a couple of years ago it premiered on a movie channel and i stayed up till 2 am to watch it! so it started at 2 am and I didn’t last an hour!!!! i couldn’t watch it, it freaked me out!!!! so when my brother bought it on DVD las week, i knew i wasn’t going to be the one watching it with him!! (no siree!!) So like i stated previously…mushi and i decided to have a girl’s night in, she came over today and we sat down, prepared our snacks, switch the laptop off (i was planning on keeping it on so that i could drift away from the film, but mushi ruined the plan, she wanted me to focus completley on the film–pity me ppl, PITY ME!!) at around 7:05pm i popped ‘the exorcist’ in the DVD player…The movie started out by the director talking about how the movie was based on a true story, bla bla bla, yada yada yada…i was too freaked out to really focus on what he was blabbering about…then, it started, if you’ve watched the movie, you know it starts out with Father Mirren in Northen Iraq in an excavation site–let’s skip all of that…then they’re in Georgetown–i think…like i said i was too freaked out to focus!! Mushi, switched off all the lights and kept the one sidetable lamp on—“it’s gonna put us in the mood” Mushi of course was really into the whole thing (i wish i had her confidence–btw, she found the movie both “funny and shocking”) FUNNY AND SHOCKING?!! i wasn’t even looking at the the screen most of the time!!! 85% of the film i was looking away and asking mushi what was happening!! and all she could say was “YOU DON’T WANNA KNOW!!”—so in conclusion…the exorcist and i, we’ll never mix :P it just won’t work…i hope i’ll be able to sleep tonight, it’s just that i’m up alone at night, everybody else is asleep!!!—o well, i’ll just think of this as an experience–and a fact that horror flicks and I are like oil and water–we just don’t mix!! lol…till the next time people, time for me to sign off, ta ta for now :*
