En Souriant? | August 5th 2008
My two month summer vacation started this morning at 9:38. I have no idea what to do till October 5th. I’m not travelling - I can’t even if I wanted to, and believe me, I really want to. My best friend is flying back to Dubai in 12 days (even more reasons to hate that place), and I might implode from the frustration if I don’t find anything productive to do.
I’m going to miss my friends at uni, hanging out in Dr. H’s office,
bombarding the poor woman with total randomness, munching away on Kalicha biscuits (try them with Kraft Spread Cheese - delicioso!), yapping away on art, music, and my newly acquired Kuwaiti words.
I know what I’ll do…I’ll catch up on my reading. I’m currently reading Gender Trouble by Judith Butler, and Wicked by Gregory Maguire. Oh, oh! I can also start drawing again, D reprimanded me for neglecting my “talent”. Let’s see how that goes.
Oh..and men are weird. Let’s see how that goes too? I suppose.
Leaving you with a short French film called On S’Embrasse about a “girl [who] arrives at her audition ten minutes early. Finding it difficult to learn her lines, she approaches a man nearby for help…” Watch and enjoy.

Till next time world.
