DAMN THE FLU! DAMN IT! | November 23rd 2005
I’ve got a gazillion emotions and thoughts swirling around.
I can’t think out loud! My brain’s fuzzed out. DAMN THIS FLU! *sniff* I hate being sick. It’s such a pain in the derriere!! *cough*

I’ve been confined to the 4 walls of my room for the past 4 days. It’s depressing, it’s gruelling and it’s made a total calaustraphobic nut out of me! *sniff* I just can’t stand this anymore!! I’m finally getting out of the house to go to uni in a couple of hours! *cough* I can’t wait! Open spaces and crappy weather here i come!Spending time in solitude isn’t as much fun as it’s cracked out to be, trust me, it definately isn’t :/ Nobody wants to be on their own for 4 days. *sniff* On a lighter note, a good thing came out of it. I’ve watched ‘Skeleton Key’ and it’s actually quite cool! I mean, *sniff* it didn’t scare the living daylight out of me, which means it was good! haha…*cough* but seriously, it was different; different is good! The thing I admired by Kate Hudson’s choice of starring in this movie; is that she’s taken a risk. A risk? Well yeah! I mean, she’s chosen a genre/character that’s so not her and actually portrayed the character well! Two thumbs up to Kate!
I’ve also read ‘Bergdorf Blondes’ by Plum Skyes. *cough* What the heck was I thinking when i bought that book?! Honest to God! This book seems like a Paris Hilton diary! It’s just too, “i’m super rich. and OMG, my shoes like don’t match my eyeshadow!” kinda book; which i think is the exact point the author wanted to cross over. But still; it reminded me of Paris Hilton and i just wanted to regurgitate. I could’ve just put it down and read another book, right? WRONG! I was so fuzzed out by the freakin anti-biotics and icky meds i was taking that i couldn’t get out of bed and pick out another book. I HATE BEING SICK! arrrrggghh!!
On the otherhand i’ve fallen in love with Nogoom FM (only works in Internet Explorer)!! It’s an Egyptian radio station and it’s finally available online! WOOHOO! I felt as if i were in Egypt! I heard Egyptian adverts and i was close to tears! I felt at home. Hang on, i was at home; in my room, in my bed to be specific with my laptop *sniff* (which is a blessing to have when you’re down with the flu!). Hang on; wasn’t I talking about Nogoom FM?! Anyhoos, i felt as if i were in Egypt. I’m not travelling back there in the winter and i’m super depressed; haven’t i mentioned this before? Oh well, one more time isn’t going to hurt anyone. Unless you consider it 25seconds of your life wasted. She’s back and she kicks ass…I love her. I LOVE HER!!
