Birthday Follow-Up! | July 8th 2005
Alrighty, i’m 19 now (as ya’ll now) and it doesn’t feel any different from being 18!!! So being 19 is supposedly a person’s “last teenage year” but in the words of Dragon, next year i’ll be “tweeny” (twenty) so erm, i guess my teenage years aren’t really over–plus, age is nothing but a number. Being young at heart is what truly matters! :D
Okay, so the “Birthday Follow-Up”…a couple of seconds after i published my entry, my parents and my brother burst into the room singing ‘Happy Birthday’ i felt so…well, i felt SO LOVED!! They were singing, and dancing! hehe, it was gr8!!! I love birthdays!! I got money from my parents to start taking driving lessons! ALAS!! hehe…My mom made me birthday lunch, then I had a super birthday cake! It was YUMMY!! it had these lovely strawberries inside–and yup, you guessed it; it was a chocolate cake! hehehe…Went out with my mom after that, and before i knew it, the day was over–and that was how i spent my birthday! YAY!

I was watching “The Shinning” on ‘One Tv yesterday night…wait, you didn’t realise the spelling mistake?! “The ShinNing?” Double ‘N’..big no-no lol…yup One Tv wrote Shinning instead of shining…just proves that no matter how perfect we try to be, we’re bound to make itsy bitsy mistakes (that are kind of embarassing and make us seem unprofessional :p)
I went to Q8Books yesterday night and bought:
As I Lay Dying, William Faulkner (wow, just realised my edition is 41 years old!)
Oprah!: Up Close and Down Home, Nellie Bly
Zoya, Danielle Steele
If you’ve noticed in the let sidebar in the “Currently Reading” section, i’m reading ‘Grass for his Pillow’ by Lian Hearn, which is actually going a bit slower than ‘Across the Nightingale Floor’ which was the first installment of ‘Tales of the Otori’ when i’m finished with Grass for his Pillow i’ll start looking for the third and (final?) installment: ‘Brilliance of the Moon’. I spent 7.300KD on books last week! (on 4 books! not bad!) hehe…
OH! OH!! When i was in Marina Mall a couple of days ago, i saw a Kuwaiti “Celeb” hehe, it was actually quite funny, i was at Cafe Blanc, and he was sitting with a group of friends, erm, i’m not sure if he’s a singer or an actor, he might as well be both–i don’t really know many Kuwaiti celebs (except for this football player, the one in the Subway commercial! I spotted him in Marina Mall as well!)
Oh speaking of celebs check out this Egyptian actor out–hehe, just check out how he “greets” you onto his webpage! cute! lol..and plus, he’s one of Egypt’s “current” top young actors–way to go! ;)
Is the song ‘Crazy Frog’ making everybody else crazy, or is it just me? It’s actually quite funny! hehehe…”ring ding ding…”–look, i’m not making sense–i want to write so much, but i don’t know why none of my thoughts are coming out!! My thoughts are in a frenzy, they’re in distress!! So is this time for an intermission?!
Maybe it is…
Alrighty dahlings, an intermission it shall be..do come back next week and i’ll have a surprize for you!!!! ;) (if you’re going to miss me so much and can’t stand the thought of me being away for long just send me an e-mail at santootoo@gmail.com i’ll answer!)
From a Female thinking out loud saying it’s time to sign off and till next time World!
Ta ta for now :*
