Sou thought out loud in Fun, Personal, Crazy, Books, Television

I started writing this post at 6am this morning, but saved it as a draft, felt too tired to finish it off, lazy lil moi :p

I can’t sleep…it’s 6am!! My body neeeeds to sleep, but my brain’s thinking of a billion things…I’m sooo glad laptops were invented! using a laptop makes mylife easier–it means that i don’t have to get out of bed, switch on my PC, sit on the hardest chair ever and type away. With a laptop i get to do all of that in the comfort of my own bed (without the getting up and sitting on a hard chair bit!!) I’ve got the t.v. on, I’m watching ‘Sweet Charity’ one of my favourite films–I love that film, simply love it *sigh*
If ya’ll are wondering what the hell i was on about with ‘Just Not Into That You’, well i heard it wen i was watching Oprah yesterday (we all know how much i love Oprah!!!) Greg Behrendt was the guest on the show, author of ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’. He explains men’s attitudes towards relationships, and tries to help women realise if they’re wasting their time with the person they’re with (also how to find the right one, that’s actually “into her”) a lot of tears were shed on yesterday’s show after Behrendt “analysed” some women’s love lives. You know what struck me as odd–each relationship analysed, he started by saying “he’s just not that into you” I mean are men that yucky? Do they all lie about the way they really feel so that they wouldn’t hurt a woman’s feelings?! Tell me this, when a man says “it’s not you, it’s me” they’re lying, aren’t they?! Well i think they are, actually i’m sure they are!!! The excuse behind the lie, is that they don’t want to hurt our itsy bitsy feelings! JUST TELL US, WE’LL TAKE IT LIKE A MAN!!! hang on, who am i kidding–ok, let’s forget the “take it like a man bit” because we probably won’t–well we’ll look like we took it well and moved on, but really we’re planning ways to torture you–yes, yes we are!! So where was i, o yes..no hang on, i’m lost, lemme just re-read what i wrote..OK, the “it’s not you, it’s me” tactic..you know what–i’m babbling, right? ya, i figured–i’ll go get some juice and come baq…
Okey dokey, i’m baq, alive and kicking–erm, i’m not actually kicking but..o watever…
Pretty pathetic how men try to justify their excuses–and it’s pretty pathetic how women buy it all–omg, i’m pathetic :S yes, i’m confessing, i am patetic *sigh* we’re not perfect…
You know, i’m going to stop here…how about u tell me what you think of the ‘He’s just not that into you” topic! Time to sign off, ta ta for now :*

I love my laptop for that reason exactly. I can sit in bed and watch movies. Wee!

here’s what you need to understand about men:
by the time most men reach adulthood, they are damaged by the emotional relationships they had as a youth. i know women get damaged too but you deal with it better than men. men go into protective mode and shut down their heart. they start to view woman as sex objects and not partners so they don’t have to give their heart to anyone and possibly get hurt. it happened to me and it happened to most of my friends. it takes a while to heal the damage and to start to appreciate healthy relationships that aren’t based on sex.

Davey: Ya, we’re after you!! hehe! How many hearts have u broken, you bad, bad boy! ;p

Camel: I love Laptops, ahh..comfort!

Wesley: Thank you so much for dropping by–come often! I’d also like to thank you for posting a ’smart’ comment. It’s a good thing guys are actually expressing how they feel–i bet it wasn’t easy writing all that out, i salute u! Now i’ve got a different perspective on how things work with u guys–and Wesley, no, we don’t “deal with it better” some of us hide our emotions and show a happy smiley face and pretend to move on. In the words of Dido:

“And when we meet
Which I’m sure we will
All that was then
Will be there still
I’ll let it pass
And hold my tongue
And you will think
That I’ve moved on…. ”

Thanks again for sharing ur opinion :)
